Rainy Day Thoughts

I was thinking, what do people need on a rainy day?

Something to keep them warm and dry
and something for them to indulge in,
Maybe something to let idle moments pass by
and something perhaps that's good for cuddling?

Something perhaps that elicit smiles
or something that could make them cry in surprise?

It's raining today, so I wonder
will I get any of these when the shower's over?

Or will it just rain forever?
